The Management Board of Firma Oponiarska Debica S.A. on February 22 made public information on preliminary selected results for 2023. Debica estimates that in 2023 it had a net profit of PLN 196.3 million and revenue of PLN 2.99 billion. Final results for 2023 are due on April 25, 2024.
The Company's financial results, according to the announcement, were affected by: higher sales prices realized in transactions with related parties in the first half of this year, a significant decrease in raw material and energy costs incurred from the second quarter of 2023, compared to assumed costs, and a fire, as a result of which the Company lost some production capacity, which translated into lower sales to a related party and incurred the additional cost of unused capacity.
