After Gazprom disconnected access to gas, PGNiG started negotiations to replace the Russian fuel with gas from other sources!
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo reached an agreement on the possibility of signing a long-term contract for the supply of 3 million tons of LNG per year.
Additionally, according to deputy CEO Robert Perkowski, PGNiG wants to import 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas via Baltic Pipe in 2023 and gradually increase the use of the pipeline in the following years.
